Chuga Chuga Choo Choo
This is a silly little poem I wrote when I was thinking
about when I used to ride the freight trains. It was a lot of fun 30 years ago, but I would
not recommend it as a hobby these days.
Six hundred miles of curving track
From Salt Lake to K-falls
Up the mountain side
The train it slowly crawls
Four units pull with all their might
Two pushers join the force
Getting ever closer
To the end of the course
Around just one more curve it creeps
Until we hit the top
Faster, faster, faster
Down hill until we stop
Chuga Chuga Chuga Chuga
Choo Choo
