Willy's Memorial Page

Willy was supposed to be a female. I am really happy that
he was not. He gave me twelve babies before he died. We think
that he died of lung infection. He somehow got out of the cage
and got stuck under an old hutch. We did not have any idea
he had gotten out. He and Sarah had babies at the time, so
we thought he was in the box. It was very dusty under that
hutch, so we think he inhaled too much of it. He lived for
about 24 hours after we found him. He could not have been
under there for more than 12 hours. We really miss him. My
grandchildren still cry about it. Good bye Willy. You were a
good bird.
