Who is Mercy

Who Am I? Half of the time I am not sure myself. I am an
animal lover for sure. I really wish I could live in a place
where I could have as many animals as I wanted. A zoo would
be great. LOL

I grew up in the age of the hippies. I joined the hippy movement
to the fullest. I wore big dresses with flowers all over them,
bell bottom pants, and bells around my neck. Drugs were the
entertainment of choice. I have never quite grown out of that faze,
except for the drugs. I have been off drugs for about twelve years
and intend to stay off. Life was hard and most of the time I lived
on the streets. I rode freight trains and hitchhiked all over the US.

In between times, I married two men. Not at the same time of course.
I have two daughters, one of which is a joy. I am very proud of
her. The other wants nothing to do with me. I cannot blame her. I
was not exactly the motherly type. I have four grandchildren, all
of which I love.

Unfortunately the drugs and hard life took a toll on my body. I am
now mostly disabled. I can get around in a wheel chair, but I won’t be
riding any more trains. LOL

Now I am perfectly happy to build web pages and play in my
competition. I also have my 23 birds and 2 dogs to keep me busy,
along with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

Mercy is not my real name, but I have used it for a nickname for
about 30 years. I got the name in my pool playing days. I never
showed any mercy. I was really quite good and earned several
trophies. I do not play any more because of the arthritis.
